Arrow of Light

Fifth Grade

The Arrow of Light Program wraps up all that the Scouts have learned in Cub Scouts and prepares them to join a Scouts BSA Troop.

Arrow of Light Scouts lead their Dens following the Scouts BSA Patrol method.  Guided by their Den Leaders, the youth decide everything from which activities to pursue to certain parts of their uniform.

In most Packs, Dens meet 2 nights/month during the school year to work on rank requirements.

Start Your Next Adventure

Cub Scouts earn Adventures that are specific to their grade and rank. A number of Adventures must be completed to earn the badge of rank for each grade level. Completion of Adventures is how the aims of character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness are developed.
